    I think folks always forget the main thing for Google is traffic on the internet which turns into advertising revenue.  Apple seems to sell hardware at a profit with everything else supporting that.

    *Update: perhaps I am wrong and Google wants some of that hardware profit. The purchase of Motorola may prove my hypothesis above incorrect.  It could be about the patents and they are still all about traffic, don’t know.

  • Racing Cobbles – a painting

    This is a painting I did, jeez, two years ago now. I want to give it another try but have not found the time for it.

    I have tried to find the source photo since I grabbed it but can’t. I think it is Bernie Eisle on the Kemmelberg, but he was in the background and not the center of attention in the photo. It might have been something I saw on Cyclingnews.com but searches on that site have not turned up anything.
