• Publishing a category means-
  • Able to add articles, images, and children categories
  • Able to find friendly URL (version 5.1)
  • Able to be in site map (version 5.1)
  • Generally ‘usable’ for defining structure
  • Published categories are immediately live to any site visitors
• Publishing an article means-
  • Able to find friendly URL on front end
  • Able to be in site map (version 5.1)
  • Generally ‘finished’ and ready to show to anyone
  • Published articles are immediately live to any site visitors, within the published time frame

Editorial process

1. Categories
   1. Editor creates categories
   2. Author may update a pre-existing category
   3. Editor publishes a category
   4. The category is ready for use by users and visible to site visitors
2. Articles or Images
   1. Any user creates article or defines an image
   2. This is reviewed by an editor
   3. The editor publishes the article or image
   4. Optionally, a site administrator approves the article or image
   5. The article or image is available for site visitors to view
